Kay has had an interest in Watercolours since early childhood. Art was by far her favourite subject at school, and she would have loved to have studied Commercial Art. But it was not to be.
It has only been in the last ten years since retiring that Kay has become a hobbyist watercolourist, and has attended classes and workshops at the Macquarie Community College, Eastwood Leisure Learning; and Willandra Art School.
Kay is currently co-ordinator of the Beecroft Uniting Church Leisure Learning Watercolour Class; attended Pennant Hills Uniting Church Leisure Learning Art Group; and currently is in a small class having lessons from a gifted and qualified Art Teacher.
She is also a member of the Ryde Art Society and exhibits her work in local exhibitions held by that Society; as well as Cheltenham Girls High School; Hornsby Art Society; Willandra Art School & Lane Cove Art Society.
Kay has also exhibited her art work in the Stephen Miles Gallery at Eastwood.
