Exhibitor Portfolios - The Old Friends of the Arts Exhibition
Ron Smith and Paul Bicknell will be exhibiting at Wallarobba from the 8th-20th November 2011.
Ron and Paul are retirees living in the Berowra area. Paul retired after a long career in the
airline industry and Ron after a long career in law enforcement.
Both Paul and Ron have had a lifetime interest and passion for art. Paul having earlier in his life, undertaken
studies in art at the St. Martins College of Art in London and subsequently worked for a time in retail design
in the United Kingdom.
Since retirement Paul and Ron have been students in visual art at the Hornsby Kuringai Community College.
They are also active members of the Hornsby Arts Society and have displayed their works in a number of exhibitions.
Through their activities with Art Society and other social gatherings Paul and Ron formed a friendship.
As a result of their common interest in art they have developed the idea of 'THE OLD Friends of the ARTS EXHIBITION'.
They feel that their works Paul's pastels and Ron's watercolours will complement each other and hope that they
will appeal to those attending the exhibition.
