"Drawings underpin my painting practice. The first impression is essential in capturing the dynamic thrust of the pose
or the expression and character of the face."
Having completed a number of short courses and workshops with tutors such as Susan Cesarini and Samantha Tidbeck, whose focus is
on portraits and the human form, Marion went onto study Fine Art at Medowbank and Hornsby.
With a background in theatre design Marion observes each person as an individual with a different and interesting story to tell.
During the past five years Marion has put an increased focus on her passion. Her main interests lie in drawings, portraits,
the human figure and modern day mythology. The human form inspires her.
